Mexico Cruises
Cruises to Mexico
Beach lovers adore Mexican cruises. The Mexican Riviera, which stretches from Mazatlan to Acapulco includes some of the best beach escapes you can find. One of the most famous beaches is in Cabo San Lucas, with its famous Lovers Beach, located where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez, at Land’s End. And who can resist Cozumel, located off the Yucatan coast. Although a busy port, it is a bustling island full of shops, dive centres, restaurants and is close to spectacular sites such as the Mayan ruins found at Tulum and Chichén-Itzá.
Memorable Mexican Cruise
Cabo San Lucas offers dramatic landscape with jagged rocks and desert mountains surrounding it. Moving down the Pacific coast, Puerto Vallarta, now a bustling town, was once no more than an airstrip. Like many great Mexican and Caribbean cities, a malecón runs along the seaside, giving visitors the opportunity to see and be seen. The town of Puerto Vallarta is a pleasure to explore by foot, with shops and cobblestone streets. Mexican cruises often include the towns of Acapulco, Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo and will long remain a favourite of Canadians.
A Mexico Cruise with Culture
The seaside town of Mazatlan, a great stop for families, is located almost directly across from Cabo San Lucas, through from the Sea of Cortez.
