Family Vacations
Time for the Family
The importance of taking a family vacation has never been greater. With hectic lifestyles,
parents and children have less time to put aside day-to-day life to just relax and
enjoy being a family. The travel business worldwide has recognized how precious
time together is so there are now more options than ever before, from a specially
designed family resort to family vacation packages that make planning a trip easier
and more convenient for time-stretched parents. Let’s go!
Vacationing as a Family
When is the last time you were able to watch your child at play, or read them a
bedtime story, without thinking about how much laundry you had to do and whether
you had bread for tomorrow’s school lunches? Probably too long ago.
A family vacation puts the focus on being together – sitting down to dinner
all at the same time, creating new memories, and sharing the thrill of discovering
something new. From hands-on learning to relaxing at sun-drenched family resorts
in the Caribbean these destinations cater to the special needs of parents, tots and toddlers,
teen and tweens, grandparents, extended family and everyone in between.
Family Vacations: Not Just for the Kids
Family vacations also give moms and dads a chance to reconnect, while the kids are
occupied with their own fun. That could mean a wonderful couples’ massage
at the spa, or a horseback ride along the beach as the sun sets into the horizon.
Forget the one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to your vacation. Consult a
Travel Counsellor who will help guide you and your family to the right spot.
