Hello and welcome to my web page! I am Sonya Thomas, your friendly personal Travel Counsellor living in the Belleville and Quinte Area.
I have been in the travel industry for over 24 years and have been fortunate to gain experience in both the wholesale and retail side of the business.
My career has always been fuelled by passion - passion for travel the world ‘round! I am especially passionate, however, about the Caribbean and Mexico. A few of my favourites in the Caribbean are Jamaica, ask me about my favourite secret hideaway off the beaten track - affordable, romantic and unforgettable, the one of a kind pink sand on the beaches of Barbados, or the straw market in downtown Nassau, St. Lucia and the British Virgin Islands.
I also have extensive knowledge of travel to Europe. The history and romance of some of the world’s finest cities are found there with so many exceptional experiences just waiting to be discovered!
My ultimate focus, no matter what destination you might be travelling to is you and your satisfaction. And the service begins from the very first time we speak and certainly doesn’t end when your dream vacation is booked. I stay in touch to keep you informed of your pending trip - from passports & visas, vaccination requirements, advisories, fantastic destination guides and more.

My greatest satisfaction comes from the enjoyment of meeting and greeting travellers before and after their journey.
I also enjoy the challenges involved in putting together a complicated itinerary for the busy business traveller, who has to be in a dozen different places in only 6 days!
My research and advice is always professional and unbiased. To keep up to date on trends I attend many seminars, workshops and online training, which brings a fresh approach to travel planning.
