My name is Yolanda and I’m your personal Travel Counsellor. I am very passionate about travel and absolutely love giving my clients the best value and best service in the travel industry. I am based in Toronto, Ontario, married and have an adorable one year old son, hence, family travel is one of my specialties.
At Travel Counsellors I not only work for myself, offering great travel advise, but I also work for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - from the time you enquire about your vacation until long after you have returned home. I am able to provide you the opportunity of selecting your holiday in the comfort of your home, office or any other location convenient to you. My clients' vacation needs are my number one priority. You can always count on me.
I really love what I do and my passion for travel has taken me to many places around the world; in fact, I have been around the world three times and have seen almost all of the seven natural and manmade wonders of the world! Some of my favorite places includes Vietnam, China – The Great Wall, Japan, Australia and diving in the Great Barrier Reef, Indonesia – seeing the Komodo Dragons, the South Pacific, where I spent 6 months, New Zeeland, Thailand, Russia, India, Maldives, Egypt, North Africa, France, Italy, UK, Greece, Spain, Scandinavia, USA, Central America, Caribbean, and my favorite, Southern Africa, including stunning Namibia and the most amazing and beautiful South Africa (where my roots lie).
I have also worked on a cruise ship for five years, worked and lived in London, England, backpacked Europe, Au Paired in America and worked and lived in the Bahamas. Youth travel and gap year travel is also something I specialize in, so if you have a year off or know of someone who does, be sure to give me call!
I have a diploma in Travel and Tourism and have been in the industry for many years. I have gained a lot of travel experience and as a Certified Travel Councellor I have the knowledge and expertise to turn your vacation dreams into reality. I continue my expertise training daily and my current qualifications include:
